We had a great weekend camping below Causey Reservoir this weekend! Here's some pictures of the boys tubing the river, they had a blast. We went up with two other families, who we have met through Hunter of course.... They were great fun. Clint and another dad (Wayne) took the kids up to the dam so they could tube the river all the way back to our camp. We thought it would take about an hour.... so after 2 hours us moms back in camp were not having good thoughts as you can imagine!!
They made it eventually, with stories to tell!! Only 1 kid out of 8 had fun, Jacob loved it. Everyone else had too many near death experiences to count, and Hunter swears every bush along the river houses snakes!! Nicole, the oldest of the bunch, (14 I think) got out and walked as soon as they got close to camp. The water was freezing!! Wayne lost all dexterity in his fingertips, Clint was numb from the chin down....... but the two adults loved it of course and would do it again in a heartbeat. The mom's felt differently about that as you can imagine.

Can't wait for the next trip, thanks to the Jahn's and Newmeyer's for the fun trip!! Hopefully the next one will be done in a trailer for us, not a tent..... my back is killing me from our air mattress that never made it till morning staying full of air!

How fun! You guys are gonna need to take us camping and show us the ropes. I love camping but Ken refuses to do it. But, I'm going to make him do it as Camdyn gets older cause I want her to experience it. There is nothing like camping.. Sounds like you had a fun time.. Did the kids ever get feeling back in their fingers? ;)
